And while not all can be ridden, ALL horses can and usually will, experience emergencies of some type or other in their lifetime with us.

In July 2023, I partnered with Equine Veterinarian, Dr Lizzie McCready of Empowering Equine Education to present a webinar on ‘Training Horses for Emergencies’.

We hope it helps give you some ideas & inspiration for your training. The great news is that training for emergencies isn't a stand-alone activity. Much of the training intersects with other things we want to train for - and so both what we're already training can help in the training for emergency response AND vice-versa, the training for emergency response can help the rest of our training.
