VIP Weekends @ Abbey’s Run
Saturday ? & Sunday ? TBC, 2024 (we’re yet to schedule another - join our mailing list to find out when we do), 10am - 4pm each day
Dedicated time for YOU, for your own personal growth & learning with horses.
Hands on training with our experienced equine learners who will help you finesse your skills.
Explore, workshop, learn & get answers to your training questions.
Introduction to (what are maybe for you) new tools, techniques & approaches: experience PORTL (very cool table-top game to help hone your training skills), try out a RRP (Reverse Round Pen) and more.
Shared learning in a safe, friendly space where kindness is Queen & excited yelling only happens with sheer joy at your learning & achievements.
Your horses stay at home where they're most comfortable.
12 hours of face-to-face time to make the most of my 28.5 years of instructing & coaching experience.
Enjoy the beautiful landscape at Abbey's Run.
This VIP Weekend will leave you with a deeper knowledge & skill base to use with your equine partner now & into the future. You will be learning how to become an even more effective & efficient trainer (and owner) for your horse & other horses you contact.
You will walk away feeling more confident, with more clarity, more purpose, more positive, with greater direction, happier, and, I’m not going to lie, it may just make you even more curious, but in a really positive way.
While we will be exploring training using positive reinforcement, we’re not expecting that everyone will walk away and become a positive reinforcement trainer (in fact, we’d discourage you doing so without more support). BUT you do need to be curious and open to learning, exploring and even having a go. Regardless of what your training approach is after the workshop, you’ll be taking home an enormous amount of valuable skills & knowledge that will make you an even better trainer.
Strictly limited places available. This is an intimate weekend to ensure you get the most out of the experience. Tea, coffee, water & morning tea supplied. BYO: lunch, snacks, chair, water bottle, notepad & pen.
Abbey’s Run is located within the Benalla Council area, east of the Benalla township.
